Calcium Fluoride is an inorganic compound that has the formula CaF2. Calcium fluoride is a colorless insoluble solid. Calcium fluoride has a very high melting point of over 2500 degrees Fahrenheit. It is used in lab instruments as a window for infrared and ultraviolet radiation.
