Sulfuric Acid
Waverly Eubank
H2SO4
This is an acid because it has a hydrogen atom.
Sulfuric acid is very important and has many uses on people's everyday lives. It is used for fertilizers, pigments, dyes, drugs, explosives, detergents, and inorganic salts and acids. When it is heated, it decomposes into water and sulfur trioxide. It is a strong oxidizing and dehydrating agent.
