Aluminum Chloride Antiperspirant

Maxie, Kori

I will be discussing aluminum chloride (AlCl3). It is a ternary ionic compound. Aluminum chloride is widely used in many circumstances. It is often used as a sweat antiperspirant for excessive sweating.  It does its job by clogging pores and blocking away sweat, and eliminating odors. Aluminum chloride can also be seen in the petroleum refining and the production of many products. Aluminum chloride can only be used on skin, and is dangerous if it gets in your eyes.
